Never one to disappoint my family, blame others
for my shortcomings and wallow in self-pity because life is unfair and things
are not going my way, I persevere in my chosen career because I believe that
nothing will be given to me for free just like that therefore I need to roll up
my sleeves and do the dirty work for myself if I want to change my destiny for
the better. Although I am perfectly happy, content and satisfied with the dream
job that I have because it gives me the chance to prove myself to my peers,
make my parents proud and pursue my passion that gives me the sense of
accomplishment and gratification, there are times when I am truly stressed out
because of all the deadlines that I have to meet and the tight schedule of my
daily life. And that is the reason why I am constantly looking for excellent
ways to rest and relax because my doctor always concurs and reiterates that
stress is the number one killer out there and I need to slow down every now and
then or else I will break down in more ways than one.
And
that is the reason why I look for experts who have undergone yoga teacher training so that I can
learn from the masters who have honed their skills and perfected their craft
through the years because I really need to learn how to ward off the negative
energy in my life and find the inner peace that will keep me cool, calm and
collected in times of distress. At first, I was a little bit sceptical and
hesitant about trying out new things because I was out of shape, self-conscious
about my body and I did not want to make a fool of myself in front of complete
strangers who are watching my every move and judging me with their eyes. But I
firmly believe that health is wealth and there is a high price to pay if I do
not take care of my welfare and well-being because we will all succumb to the
ravaging effects of death and decay as we grow older therefore I knew that I
needed to step out of my comfort zone and try out new things.
With that said, after looking for instructors
who have aced their yoga teacher training in Singapore so that I can rest assured that I am in great and
qualified hands, I started my journey of self-discovery and enlightenment
through my rigorous, demanding but rewarding yoga training and workout regimen.
I mastered the fundamental positions and worked my way up through the more
advanced techniques and poses and I was pleasantly surprised that it
strengthened my core, toned my muscles, boosted my flexibility, improved my
cardiovascular endurance and cleared my mind in more ways than one.
And just like that I was hooked and after years of tireless training, grim determination and unwavering perseverance, I am now working my way to the top to become a yoga instructor in Singapore who is more than ready, willing and competent to help others find the right way towards a healthier life. I know that I have found something truly special in yoga and I want to share the same blessing with other people around me because I know for a fact that it can change their life for the better in more ways than one.
